The other 'royal wedding': leah and Nathan

It has been a few months since we had the excitement of the royal Wedding Ceremony of  Will and Kate and Perth in Western Australia may seem such a far way away from the pomp and ceremony of English soil…

However, since Kate and Will’s Wedding Ceremony there has been alot of talk about the Bridal Trends that will come from this wonderful and traditional Marriage Ceremony.

I have found a great article on Bridal Trends in the St Petersburg Times by Susan Thurston.

Some of the upcoming trends the article highlights pertains to:

  • Tiara’s
  • Small flower bouquets
  • Use of lace
  • Trees to decorate the ceremony (ala westminster abbey style)
  • Horse drawn carriages
  • Flat shoes
  • Gemstone engagement rings
  • Move to formal ceremonies
  • White Bridesmaids dresses
