Wedding in Fremantle, Perth by Wedding Celebrant Perth

Please enjoy a Wedding I wrote and performed recently at the Fremantle Roundhouse in Perth.

Ring Exchange, Wedding Ceremony, Fremantle, PerthWelcome to the Guests:

Friends of Teagan and Michael, I am delighted on their behalf to welcome you this morning.

My name is Brad Whitelock, and I am duly authorized to solemnize marriages according to law in Australia.

Introduction:

We are all gathered here today to celebrate one of life’s greatest moments, to give recognition to the worth and beauty of love, and to cherish the words which shall unite Micheal and Teagan in marriage.

Family and friends, your presence here today means a great deal to this loving couple as today you can share in the one day that will always remain special:  their wedding day.

Teagan and Micheal: you have learned to know and love each other, and now have decided to live their lives together as husband and wife.

Reading:

I would now like to invite Teagan’s friend to recite a reading she has chosen for Teagan and Micheal today.

Wedding Ceremony, Fremantle, Perth CelebrantToday.

Today is the start of your new life,
As you become husband and wife.
We all stood here and watched you smile,
As you have fought for this for such a while.
As your hearts now beat as one,
Your new journey has just begun.
Your love is a love of that so rare,
Your hearts are full of compassion and care.
You deserve to be together,
You deserve a love that will last forever.
Through good times and bad,
You will get though them hand in hand.
I wish the best for your new life,
Now that you are husband and wife.

Thank you.

Fremantle Wedding, perth Wedding CelebrantDeclaration of purpose:

Dedication, love, and joy can grow only when you nourish them together.  Stand fast in that hope and confidence, having faith in your shared destiny just as strongly as you have faith in yourselves and in one another today.  Only with this spirit can you forge a union that will strengthen and endure all the days of your lives.

Teagan and Micheal could you please face each other and while you are holding hands please answer declare your intentions to one another by answering “I do” to the following questions.

Micheal, do you take Teagan to be your wife?

Will you love her, comfort her,

Honour and keep her, in sickness and in health,

And, forsaking all others, keep only unto her,

As long as you both shall live?

Micheal:  I do.

Teagan, do you take Micheal to be your husband?

Will you love him, comfort him,

Honour and keep him, in sickness and in health,

And, forsaking all others, keep only unto him,

As long as you both shall live?

Teagan:  I do.

Celebrant Authority:

Micheal and Teagan before you are joined in marriage in my presence and in the presence of these witnesses, I am to remind you of the solemn and binding nature of the relationship in to which you are now about to enter.  Marriage, according to law in Australia, is the union of a man and a woman to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life.

The Vows:

And now could you declare your vows before all of us here.

Micheal please repeat after me:

I call upon the persons

Here present to witness

That I Micheal

Take you, Teagan

To be my lawful wedded wife.

Teagan please repeat your vows after me:

I call upon the persons

Here present to witness

That I Teagan

Take you, Micheal

To be my lawful wedded husband.

Words of promise:

Fremantle Wedding, perth celebrant weddingMicheal and Teagan, marriage is a precious gift; a lifelong dedication to love and a daily challenge to love one another more fully and freely.

You have both chosen some special vows to say to one another today.

Micheal can you say your vows you have especially chosen for Teagan.

When I first saw you I knew,
And still know that you are the one.

I love you more and more,

Every time that I see you.

I will laugh with you, cry with you

And give you my hand and my heart.

I will be faithful and loyal

I will give you never ending love,

Caring and understanding.

I will always be thankful for you,

Coming into my life.

I am proud to make you my love my life,

And most of all my wife.

I love you.

Teagan, you may now say your vows you have especially written for Micheal.

It’s taken a while to get here today,

A lot of thought, emotion and feeling.

The one thing that has brought us here today,

Has been the devotion of love,

We have shown towards each other:

This builds me up to know

That we can endeavour anything

That comes our way.

I have been waiting for this day,

For as long as I can remember:

Not to have my dream wedding,

But to have my dream man.

A man I love, a man I adore,

Who makes me laugh and makes me smile.

To share my life, my dreams and my hopes.

A man who is proud and a man I can trust.

I have to wait no longer for that man,

Or that moment as the moment is now

And the man the one is you.

I love you.

Ring Ceremony:

May we have the rings?

(The rings are handed to Micheal and Teagan who hold them for just a moment)

Please hold each others rings for just a moment and listen to these words.

The symbol of a wedding ring signifies togetherness, purity and unending love.  May it be the sign of your future life together.

Micheal please take Teagan’s hand and as you place the ring on her finger, please repeat after me:

Teagan take this ring,

With my promise I will love you always.

May this ring symbolise

My eternal and ever growing love.

Teagan please take Micheal’s hand and as you place the ring on his finger, please repeat after me:

Micheal take this ring,

With my promise I will love you always.

May this ring symbolise

My eternal and ever growing love.

Declaration of Marriage:

Tegan and Micheal we have heard you promise to share your lives together in marriage.

All of us here today recognize and respect the vows you have made here before us.  What makes your marriage real and meaningful is the honesty and sincerity of the vows you have pledged to each other.

By virtue of the authority vested in me I pronounce you to be husband and wife.

The Kiss:

You may now celebrate your marriage with a kiss.

(After the kiss)

Signing of the register:

Could you all now join me as we sign the marriage documents.

The Presentation:

Could you all please welcome for the first time as husband and wife, Micheal and Tegan.
