Heathcote Reserve, Applecross.

Overlooking the Swan river this magnificent venue is ideal for wedding ceremony’s in Perth.

This spot will give you an uninterrupted view of the city and this part of the river is definitely quite stunning to look at.

Wanneroo Botanical Gardens, Wanneroo

Wanneroo Botanical Gardens is one of my favourite venues.
The Gardens are spectacular with lots of choices to have your ceremony and also for photo’s later.

The gardens are so established that all the areas for weddings give the feeling you are in “garden room”.

There is also lots of parking, a great cafe for refreshments and Karen the wedding organiser there is a lovely and caring person who really cares about your day.

Swan Shell, Burswood Park.

The Swan Shell is nestled in Burswood Park in Burswood right next door to the Casino.

It is a lovely green park with lakes, waterfalls and great areas for photo’s after your wedding.

Queens Gardens, East Perth.

The Queens Gardens is a very large garden situated next to the WACA in East Perth.

It has lots of different options for your wedding ceremony with Rose Gardens, lakes and a Pergola just in case you think it might rain on your big day.

Kings Park and Botanic Gardens.

There are many venues at Kings Park you can have your wedding ceremony at.

These include the Rotunda 1 and 2, the Old Tea Pavillion, Acacia steps and the Watergardens Pavilion.

The wedding on the right I performed at  Kaarta Gar Up on Frasers Ave.  As you can see there are magnificent views of the Swan river and city from this part of Kings park.

Old Tea Pavilion, Kings Park.

The old Tea Pavilion is situated on your right of Frasers Avenue as you come into the entrance of Kings Park.

It is a lovely old pavilion with lots of room and very homely that is perfect for a traditional wedding or even if you are after something quite relaxed.

Rotunda 1, Kings park.

The most popular part of the park to be married at.

The photo on the right shows a wedding at the Rotunda but it was a lovely day so they decided to have the wedding in the sun with a great view behind of the river.

The bride is dropped off at the Memorial and has a lovely walk down to her groom and the wedding party.

Acacia Steps.

The Acacia steps gives a grand entrance for a bride walking down the lovely sandstone of the Acacia steps.

The area gives a great view of the main part of the Park with the large pond flowing down to the watergardens.

This will be the view for your wedding:  spectacular.   Then you have a great area for your photos.

Watergardens Pavilion, Kings Park.

This venue is in the heart of Kings Park and is located near a stream that begins at a big lake and ends down at the Watergardens Pavilion.

It is a beautiful part of the park with the pavilion giving undercover just in case it rains.

The venue also lends itself to being like an amphitheatre as there is a hill that slopes down to the pavilion.

Caversham House, Caversham.

The Caversham House Venue is nestled on the bank of the Swan River in Caversham.

There are many Reception Centre’s in Perth but this would be the best one.

They have many parts to have your ceremony but the most favourite for weddings is the Hidden Gardens with the Large walkway and stairs leading down to the river.

They also give you great service for your wedding and have great food.

Leonda Function Centre, Mundijong.

The Leonda Function Centre in Mundijong is a beautiful venue for your wedding ceremony.

They have an island and gazebo for your wedding ceremony that is surrounded by a lake.

After the ceremony you can get down to the business of the party with their spacious and homely function room that overlooks the beautiful lake.

Bridgeleigh Reception Centre, Wanneroo.

This is an immacuately presented garden and reception centre that is perfect for your wedding ceremony and reception afterwards.

They have 2 large rooms with lovely gardens to the side for your ceremony.

Michael the owner looks after each bridal party personally and I have noticed many times how happy the couples are that are married here.

Burns Beach, Burns Beach.

So good they named it twice:  only joking.

This is a stunning beach with a lovely long stairway.

I have even married couples on the stairwell down to the beach.

It is a great venue for sunset weddings as the beach looks great in the evening.

This is a beautiful part of Burns Beach that has its own Pergola.

There is a long stairway to the beach that gives the bride a fantastic entrance.

The beach itself is quite large so will be ideal for a wedding party of any size.

Sir James McCusker Park, Iluka.

This is a lovely park with an amphitheatre that is perfect for your wedding ceremony.

After the ceremony the park is a beautiful place for photos that looks fantastic at sunset.

Yanchep National Park.

This is one of my favourite parks in Perth to visit as I bring my young family here regularly.

A wedding I performed here recently had the accompanying sound of my favourite bird, the black cockatoo.

You can have your wedding on the lake and then enjoy the catering in the Yanchep Inn or in the Caberet Cave with catering supplied by the Yanchep Inn.

Upper Reach Winery Wedding

This is a spectacular venue for your wedding ceremony and then followed by a fantastic restaurant for your reception.

The ceremony area overlooks the vines with  a fantastic tree for the backdrop of your ceremony.

After the ceremony you can then have your ceremony at the Broads Cafe with wonderful food by Annalaise and her staff.

Scented Gardens, South Perth.

The Scented Gardens are a lovely part of Sir James Mitchell Park in South Perth.

It is right on the water overlooking the Perth skyline.

There is lots of parking nearby and the Scented gardens looks fantastic for your photos at any time of the year.

Harold Boas Gardens, West Perth.

The Harold Boas Gardens is a spectacular garden right in the middle of city in West Perth.

It is situated near Harbourtown shopping centre but is an oasis in the city of Perth that is perfect for you wedding ceremony.

There are a number of areas in the Park that can be booked for your ceremony but my favourite is next to the lake:  you arrive via the bridge with the large trees as your backdrop.

Sir James Mitchell Park, South Perth.

This is a popular spot to be married in Perth if you are looking for a small, intimate or informal wedding as it is close to South Perth and easy to access.

It is also right on the water overlooking the Perth skyline and will be a great back drop for your wedding ceremony

There is lots of parking nearby and then you can have some photos in the Scented gardens which looks great at any time of the year.

Hyde Park, Highgate

Hyde Park is a wonderful venue for a wedding.

There are many parts of the park you can use for your wedding such as the grassed areas with Gazebo’s.

The Lake also makes a lovely backdrop.

Munja Gardens, Karnup

Munja Gardens is where Magic Happens…

Munja Gardens is a wonderful Oasis of a Wedding Venue just south of Perth.

They have beautiful gardens as well as a wonderful chapel for your special wedding ceremony.

Cottesloe Civic Centre, Cottesloe

I have been very lucky as a busy Young Celebrant in Perth performing Weddings that I have had the pleasure of going to the Cottesloe Civic Centre a number of times.

It is a majestic place with lovely lawns and magnificent view over the ocean.

Point Walter Reserve, Bicton

A wedding ceremony at Point Walter Reserve can take many beautiful forms.

You can have your wedding under one of the large Pine trees on the grass or be a bit more adventurous and have your wedding on part of the sand bar that goes out into the Swan river.

The Belvoir Homestead is a wonderful venue for your wedding. From my very first wedding there as a Perth Marriage Celebrant I was struck by an amazing feel generated by the staff at Belvoir.
