Sunny Spring Wedding of Madison and Tim at Historic Heathcote Reserve
It was a beautiful spring day in Perth for the Wedding of Madison and Tim at the historic Heathcote reserve in Applecross.
The Perth City skyline and the Setting sun on the Swan river made for a perfect backdrop for the Wedding Ceremony.
As they are both from very close families it was fitting that the bridesmaids where led by the mums Lynley and Jenny. However a highlight for me was watching the sheer joy of Madison’s dad as he tenderly escorted his daughter for marriage.
Madison and Tim have known each other for 5 years after meeting at a workplace known for its irresistible prices. Kmart was the venue to bring them together: their eyes meeting over a very large room filled with clothes, homewares and wonderful tatt.
They came together and became friends and had the opportunity to become closer while watching football at the best man’s place. Luckily they are both Eagles supporters or their relationship would have folded before the end of first quarter….
Over the last 5 years they have learned to know and love each other and their lives have been filled with excitement and adventures such as building houses, starting businesses and raising a bordier collie named Doug together. They are looking forward to slow down a bit after the wedding and to enjoy a life together that will be based on love and trust.
As the sun set at our backs and the bridal party received their guests for congratulations, the festivities began with games on the grass as local beer, French bubbly and canapé’s where served by the fabulous Bluewater grill staff.
During the evening Madison, Tim and their guests mingled and partied to the smooth voice of Tod Woodward, The Dinner Singer.
Fun was had by all that included some hilarious but tasteful speeches. Tim the groom was definitely the hit of the night with his speech of poetic prose that had them crying with laughter…
Following the speeches Scott the DJ cranked up the volume and by request the guests heard some classic tunes of the nineties and naughties…
The very next day I was delighted to receive a heartfelt note of thanks from the beautiful couple. Thank you so much: your words are never expected but always appreciated.
Just a quick email to say thank you so much for your help with our Wedding yesterday.
It all went very smoothly and according to plan, so thank you.
The ceremony was very funny and quick (what we wanted), you did everything we asked and even went above and beyond by getting the songs and hanging around after the Ceremony to coordinate photos and people.
Thank you for all your liaising on the night with the suppliers.
Thank you also for being so contactable throughout the process.
Hopefully we have another event where we need you (as MC not Celebrant, haha) otherwise, hope to see you at another Wedding soon.
